'Penetrating' Study: Scarborough Releases Top 10 Papers in Reach

NEW YORK The Des Moines (Iowa) Register tops the list of newspaper market penetration for both daily and Sunday readership (based on DMA), according to a new report from Scarborough Research.
Scarborough also provided the list for metro market readership, which is typically a smaller coverage area than the DMA. The Flint (Mich.) Journal reaches 54.0% of adults on a daily basis while the Green Bay (Wis.) Press-Gazette reaches 73.5% of adults on Sunday.
Below are the top 10 daily and Sunday newspapers that reach the most adults based on DMA and the top 10 daily and Sunday newspapers that reach the most adults in the metro market.
